The small to medium business (SMB) market worldwide has been neglected in the broadband revolution of the past decade. Only 15% of US businesses and 11% of European businesses have access to fiber, with a much lower percentage for small to medium-sized businesses.  As a result, nearly 98% of SMBs in both the US and Europe still utilize copper-based T1/E1/DSL for their broadband service.
