The Aktino Element Management Software (EMS) makes configuring, monitoring and maintaining the industry's premier DS3 over copper and the highest performing 0-50 Mbps Carrier Ethernet over Copper products intuitive and straight forward.
Full-Featured Management of Aktino Product Portfolio The Aktino EMS provides a clear view into the Aktino portfolio of high bandwidth, high reliability and exceptional reach copper bonding products - the AK3000, the industry's only viable DS3 over copper solution; the AK4000, the highest performance 0-50 Mbps Carrier Ethernet over copper solution on the market; the highly scalable, Carrier Ethernet, point-to-multipoint AK5000 product family. The Aktino EMS provides a comprehensive set of features that meet high standards for reliability, scalability, and availability making it possible to quickly configure, monitor and maintain Aktino products from a single management interface.
Carrier Grade, Scalable and Comprehensive FCAPS The Aktino EMS provides a carrier grade set of standard FCAPS element management features like configuration tools, alarm display and management, performance monitoring and security. It also supports very large scale deployments by accommodating up to 100 concurrent users and up to 1000 Aktino newtwork elements per EMS server.
Easy Configuration & Maintenance With the goal of making the Aktino broadband over copper network easy to configure and intuitive to maintain, the Aktino EMS provides a complete inventory of all Aktino network elements in use and displays them in both a tree view as well as a Google Map-based, geo-located map view. Both the tree and the map views provide a color-coded, snap-shot of the alarm status of all network elements, facilitating informed trouble-shooting.
Versatile & NMS Ready Aktino clearly understands that it's network elements are not the only ones in the network. Thus, the Aktino EMS was designed from the ground up to ensure that it can be easily integrated into a comprehensive network management suite. The Aktino EMS supports both a Web Service Interface as well as SNMP alarm forwarding in addition to supporting multiple server platforms (Solaris, Red Hat Linux and Windows).
